It's a New Year . . .

a new Imaginisce Design Team, and a NEW monthly challenge. That's right. Instead of our monthly sketch challenge, we are going to be offering up a different challenge each month for 2011.

The first one went up today. And it's a good one. You need to alter a "found" object with at least 75% Imaginisce product and link it up to the challenge post at the Imaginisce blog. One lucky lady will win a $75 prize pack. And to help you get started, some of our designers have posted an example at their blogs. Here's mine.

I created a little Valentine's Treat Bucket from an empty Prima flower tin. I have been hanging onto it for a long time just waiting for the right opportunity to reuse it. And the colors of the Garden Party collection were just perfect for it.

Do you see the new epoxy brads? Eeek! LOVE them. They sure do finish off a flower nicely. And there are soooo many fabulous Imaginisce flowers to pick from. I stacked some Cupcake Flowers and some Floral Flourishes to decorate the top. I also added a couple of chipboard stickers to the metal handle so I can write the recipient's name on it. IF I decide to part with it. Ha, ha! Oh, and I added some Hot Rock Crystals to the scalloped edge of the lid. So girly and fun!

You can see all the challenge details HERE at the Imaginisce blog. And you can find links to more sample projects. I've had a peek, and let me just say, they are FABULOUS!

Thanks for hopping over on your New Year's Day! Hope you are enjoying it. Wanna know what might make it even better? Winning a wonderful $50 prize pack from Imaginisce just for leaving comments at each designer's blog and then back at the Imaginisce blog. Good luck!
