Time for a Fling

Ready for a Spring Fling? For blooms and butterflies? For pretty pastels? Yeah, me too! Well, you're going to love this week's challenge at The Kraft Journal. Spring Fling. Just include your favorite Kraft Outlet product on a Spring project and you qualify for our challenge. Here's what I created.

Hello Friend

When I think of Spring, I think of pretty pastels, blooming flowers, butterflies, and friends. Why friends? Because we aren't stuck inside any more. We are out and about meeting friends in the neighborhood. Having backyard BBQs and family crawfish boils. So, I created a card for a friend.

My flower is created from several layers of vintage dictionary paper, available right HERE at The Kraft Outlet. I simple punched out eight scalloped circles, folded them in quarters, created four stacks of two, and attached them to a one inch circle. On top of that, I added a Metal Rimmed Tag (also available at Kraft Outlet), a punched starburst circle, and a brown button tied with Black Baker's Twine (yep, that too is from Kraft Outlet).

Then, I added a couple of triple layered vellum butterflies punched with my Martha Stewart punch. The translucent vellum at Kraft Outlet is lovely! Mwah . . .

Alright, ladies, you have until Sunday to get your Spring Fling project linked up at The Kraft Journal to be eligible for this month's prize. Pop on over there and see the rest of the team's amazing projects. You won't be sorry!
