Pinch me! Today is my first day of our Thanksgiving Holidays. We are off for an entire week and my brother is flying home today. I am so excited. I cannot wait to just hang out with my family and cook. That is my favorite part about Thanksgiving. And that is what this layout from last year's Thanksgiving holidays is all about.
This layout includes Simple Stories Sweater Weather paper, cards, and embellishments. The only thing not from Simple Stories is the wood word and the exclusive ScrapRoom flair. Aren't the colors just perfect for Fall. And the houndstooth is super fun!
And here's my November sketch in case you missed it over at The ScrapRoom. All the super cute Simple Stories Sweater Weather Die Cuts and TSR's exclusive flair were the inspiration for this one.
I finally got my Canon Selphy C910 printer working, so I can include some Instagram pictures on my pages. I like being able to create a little 4x6 scrapbook page with the smaller pictures. This one measures 3" by 3". If you have one of the printers, you can find a ton of videos on YouTube to help you print various sizes and layouts.
Well, that's my last November Project Life page. I'm working on December's pages this week. The kit is gorgeous and will start previewing tomorrow. Be sure to check it out! See you soon.
This week's spread isn't really a spread. It is two single page layouts that I just photographed together. Since that is how they appear in my album, I thought I'd just share them that way. And because I didn't feel like cropping and editing separate batches of photos. Ha ha.
Every Day Blessing and For the Record
These two pages include lots of wooden embellishments from The ScrapRoom Project Life and Flavors of the Month Kits. I never get tired of adding them to my pages. This month I really enjoyed the heart speech bubbles, just perfect for my journaling card.
Thanks for stopping by today. I'll be back soon with my last ScrapRoom Project Life page and with my first Stampin Up Seasonal Snapshot layout. Have a great week!
Today I am sharing one of my favorites from my November layouts at The ScrapRoom. Not only do I adore the leaf pictures of my silly boy, but I also love the Hello Autumn line by Bella Blvd. This month's Project Life and Flavors of the Month Kits feature the papers and stickers. Too cute!!!
This Hello Happy flair button is exclusive to The ScrapRoom. Tammy designs and produces them herself. This one is a perfect match to the Bella Blvd. products. And I just love adding flair to my Project Life album. One thing I have learned is to add the flair on top of my page protector so that it doesn't pucker up.
See what I mean? The colors and patterns are precious. And the stickers are just perfect for all your favorite fall pictures. All I added was a little burlap twine.
I am teaching a Project Life class to some of my Stampin Up friends in a couple of weeks. We'll be completing two double page spreads using Stampin Up's Sensational Seasons Project Life Card and Embellishment Kits. We'll also be using the Stampin Up Divided Pocket Page Protectors. Anyway, just wanted to post a little sneak.
After the class, I will be sharing the complete layout here. Hope to see you then!
Finally, we are having some cool weather. I have been waiting to wear my boots, sweaters, and scarves, so I am glad to finally be able to. However, I am not looking forward to cold, windy nights watching my oldest play soccer. Ah, such is the struggle in November for a soccer mom, right?
My first layout using The ScrapRoom's Project Life and Flavors of the Month Kits is about soccer. My son was on the Junior High team. Their season started in November, and they played two games every Saturday until about February. It was only fitting that I dedicated an entire layout to all the pictures that I took.
In this month's kits, I received a handful of black and white cards and some grayish black rub-ons. Those plus a piece of black cardstock, a Becky Higgins 3x4 grid card, some red Thickers from my stash, and my Silhouette Cameo are all that I used for this page.
As you can see from this last picture, I added the rub-ons directly onto my photos. If you click on the picture of the full page spread, you can see them all. I love how they turned out, and they were so easy to adhere.
Thanks for stopping by today. See you soon with a couple of random photo layouts.
