My Little Shoebox 70s Style

Today's post is brought to you by the number 7. 1975 and 1976. Kindergarten and first grade. Jumpers and Mary Janes. Dimples and barretts. Good times, people. Good times.

School Girl: When I received the Cute As A Button line to work with for the My Little Shoebox CHA booth, I knew that I wanted to scrapbook a girl. After a trip through all four of my photo storage boxes, I decided that I would scrapbook myself. These papers were perfect for my old school photos.

This line has such amazing color. Vibrant. Fun. And the backsides are wonderful tone on tones. I just layered up a bunch of my favorite patterns. To add a little texture, I ripped one piece and pleated another.

I love the My Little Shoebox Die Cuts. Such great coordinating strips and journal tags. You can fit an entire title on one and still have room for a sassy little chick sticker. Aren't these glittered alpha stickers fun? Plenty of each letter to use several times.

The flowers are layers of more die cuts with pop dots in between and a big ole gaudy bling on top. Love that!

There were six new colors of mini alphas released at Summer CHA, and this hot pink one is scrumptious! I used them for my subtitle and date. A TON of those little babies come in a pack, so you will not run out. And several of the colors work with more than one line.

Thanks for stopping by again today! See you tomorrow with my last Cute As A Button CHA project. Happy Thursday!
