November Sneak

Happy Monday to ya!  Just wanted to pop in today to share a sneak peek of my November Project Life pages for The ScrapRoom.

For sneak peeks of each kit, head on over to The ScrapRoom blog HERE.  The kit is amazing!  I think you'll really like it, too.

This month I will be posting a new ScrapRoom Project Life layout every Monday.  Plus, I'll be sharing a couple of Christmas Cards for my church card class and two Stampin Up Seasonal Snapshots Pocket Page layouts for a class that I'm teaching during the Thanksgiving holidays.  Hope to see you soon!

Family Pics: @ the Patch

Our family enjoyed a fine Fall day at the Pumpkin Patch last weekend.  Here are a few of my favorite shots.

As soon as my Stampin Up Seasonal Snapshots Kit arrives, I will be printing these out and working on a Project Life Hello Fall page. More details about the class will follow.  In the meantime, I hope you are enjoying your Fall days.

Project Life: Halloween 2013

Hi there.  Today, I want to share my last October layout, the one from Halloween. My husband bought costumes for all of us last year. We were some kind of hippy pimp family. LOL!

Happy Halloween

This is a super simple layout featuring Simple Stories Frankie and Friends, which comes in both the Flavors of the Month and Project Life kits at The ScrapRoom. You also get a coordinating "I Want Candy" flair button exclusive to The ScrapRoom. LOVE that chevron.

Well, that is the last of my October pages. My November kit just arrived, and I am super excited to get to dig into it. You are going to LOVE it.  See you soon!

Project Life: October 2013

Most months I have a a true Project Life layout of random photos from the month. I corral all those photos into one layout that I title with the month and year. Here's my October layout from my 2013 album.

October 2013

The bright colors in the Basic Grey Second City Flavors of the Month kit and Project Life cards worked well with all the bright colors in my photos. And the city themed embellishments echoed the night out pictures of me and my little boy.

For this title card, I used the two acetate tags that came in the Project Life kit, backed them with patterned paper, and then added stickers to the top. Super fast and easy. My favorite.

The flair in the center of the camera card is a ScrapRoom exclusive. The colors and scene are a perfect match to Basic Grey Second City papers.

Well, that's my third layout. I'll see you soon with my Halloween layout. Thanks for stopping by!

Project Life: Pink Out Week

In honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, our schools and local sports teams don the color pink in support. That's what this Project Life layout is all about.

Pink Out Week

For this page I combined the My Mind's Eye Hey You journal cards from the October ScrapRoom Project Life kit with some paper from the My Mind's Eye Wild Berry Flavors of the Month kit.

There were a lot of fun embellishments to coordinate with this page. I added an exclusive TSR flair on top of a Prima Free Spirit Wood Shape.  I also added a Wild Berry Sticky Note to several of the pictures.

Thanks for stopping by. I've got two more October layouts to share. See you soon!

Project Life: Fall 2013

I'm a bit late in posting my first October layout. I'd like to say it's because we've been enjoying some beautiful Fall weather, but sadly it's because we all had the stomach virus and have been super busy with work and school. Better late than never, right? Here's the first one.

This page includes a random assortment of photos from October 2013: changing leaves, Fall treats, Starbuck's Pumpkin Spice Latte, Birthday Presents, Halloween mantel, and a new coffee flavor.

I absolutely adore the cute Fancy Pants ephemera that came in the October Flavors of the Month kit. They made my title and journaling cards so quick and easy, not to mention cute. And I love the pop of turquoise mixed in with the traditional Fall colors.

This calendar card was a great filler. I added the month and dates using the Basic Grey Second City orange alphas. The color matched the rest of the Fancy Pants kit perfectly.

One down. Three to go. See you soon with some more October pages.
